The film »I am a movie camera« by Sebastian Cremers makes the almost invisible process of filming visible.
The super 16mm camera Arriflex SrII explains its functionality, how the film is exposed, what the film does with us as we watch it and a possible position towards the genre of film. The film starts out to be very analytical but as time goes by the camera begins to feel that there are much more aspects to take under consideration and starts to feel insecure.
Because this film is about the functionality of a camera, the postproduction is held to an absolute minimum. There is one room, one set and no cut.
